Job Description:
- Providing excellent service to our clients through close surveillance and monitoring of activities in and around the premises.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site.

- Provides security and safety of client property and personnel.

-Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities.

-Greets all visitors/clients when entering/exiting the premises.

-Reporting to supervisors regarding discrepancies and/or complaints.

-Writing and preparing daily activity reports and incident reports as needed.


ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

-Reports directly to Security Supervisors and indirectly to the Operations Manager.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

- Physical: Required to stand, walk, use hands to control tools/equipment, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.

-Environment: Enclosed office space. Exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level is minimal but occasionally varies depending on the post in which the security officer is assigned.

Essential Skills:

-Must be at least 18 years of age.

-Must have a reliable means of communication (i.e., pager or phone).

-Must have a reliable means of transportation (public or private).

-Must have the legal right to work in the United States.

-Must have a valid Guard Card

-Must be able to work independently, be honest, reliable, flexible, and a team player.
