Growing Security Company is now hiring for two part time positions that have the potential to go up to full time after first 30 days.

PREREQUISITES:
High School Graduate or equivalent (G.E.D) preferred.
Valid drivers' license.
No felony convictions
Minimum one year experience as a Security Officer, Law Enforcement and/or Military Service.
Evidence of excellent communication skills both oral and written including the ability to spell accurately and write legibly.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be able to maintain control at all times when dealing with disgruntled people

QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills with a diverse population.
Able to multitask and carry out assignments independently, exercising good judgment.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, able to work independently.
Able to handle personal interactions with tact, poise, courtesy and respect.

UNIQUE PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS, ENVIRONMENT, AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods. Must be able to walk up and down stairways.
Must be able to conduct bike patrols
Must be able to walk from one end of a property to uneven terrain on the exterior of building,
Vision and hearing must be within normal range, including good depth perception and ability to distinguish colors.
Must be flexible and able to work a variety of hours as needed.

Unique Job Functions:
Provides reasonable security and safety for visitors, employees, and or residents
Oversees enforcement of policies, prevents crimes against property, and performs initial investigation as needed.
Locks and unlocks as necessary for opening and closing of the buildings or gates, depending upon appropriate shift.
Patrols exterior and interior of building per assigned shift.
Monitor CCTV system and operate various electronic monitoring equipment.
Able to maintain vehicles on a daily basis - Gas, oil, fluid levels, and clean vehicle when requested.
Enforcement of parking violations in parking lots and parking garage.
Provide traffic control when requested.

Progressive security company is looking for qualified Security Officers to join our team!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Monitors entrances and exits; prevents unapproved or unlawful entry; monitors casino floor, storage areas and parking lots; directs persons who cause a disturbance to leave the property. Observes and reports incidents or suspicious activities to shift supervisor or Law enforcement authorities as appropriate and as required by the Company.

-Patrols the company premises checking for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations; assists with mechanical investigations. Responds to incidents of fire, medical emergencies, floods, elevator emergencies, and hazardous materials. Provides first aid, including CPR when necessary.

-Makes chip pickup and fills, jackpot verifications and card control duties. Provides escorts of money and persons in money-handling positions.

-Provides assistance to civil and law enforcement authorities, including testimony in court and other administrative hearings. Prepares accurately detained logs or reports. Enters information in a computer using proper grammar; inspects security control logs and takes action as required.
To qualify for this position, each candidate must meet the following requirements:

- High School Diploma

- Must be at least 21 years of age

- Must be available for all shifts including weekend, holiday, day, swing and graveyard shifts.
